Discover Our Journey So Far
UGCE has taken a significant step toward advancing sustainability through its design of a state-of-the-art recycling plant in Saudi Arabia. This facility is a cornerstone of the region’s commitment to environmental stewardship, enabling the efficient processing of waste materials into reusable resources. By integrating innovative technologies and sustainable design principles, UGCE ensured the plant operates with minimal environmental impact while maximizing resource recovery. This project reflects UGCE’s dedication to supporting global sustainability goals, addressing the growing need for waste management solutions, and contributing to a circular economy that prioritizes environmental conservation and long-term viability.
UGCE was responsible for the structural and civil design of the steel structures for Waelz Kiln Electric Arc Furnace (EAF) Dust Recycling Plant, a project undertaken by Global Steel Dust Gulf L.L.C. This project, spanning 50,000 square meters, is recognized for its significant environmental impact. The technical design requirements encompassed the kiln head, exhaust filter, pipe racks, dust settling system, big bag silo, kiln line, gas treatment, and cooling chute room. The scope of work included the issuance of drawings, calculation sheets, and material lists.
