Increasing the capacity of The Holy Haram

Increasing the capacity of the Holy Haram was a competion held among various consultant firms in order to convert the single-storey areas into six-storey ones. Furthermore, it was required that construction should take place without any changes in columns’ cross sections. Consequently, vertical circulation is maximized throughout additional stairs and elevators outside the holy Haram and they were inter-connected to the new areas by bridges.
UGCE was in charge of the whole project’s Structural Design.
