In response to the rising incidence of cancer among both children and adults, the Faculty of Medicine at Alexandria University has initiated the construction of the Integrated Oncology Center in Alexandria, Egypt. This project, funded by donations, will span 10,000 square meters and include four floors. The center will feature 70 chemotherapy beds, eight outpatient clinics, six linear accelerators, a nuclear medicine department, a diagnostic radiology department, and laboratories. Additionally, it will house an academic department with all necessities. The project also involves the renovation and rehabilitation of the existing Rashid Oncology Center. UGCE was honored to serve as the structural and electromechanical consultant for this vital project, ensuring that every aspect of the design supports advanced medical treatment.
